The City of Poughkeepsie will receive $20.8 million from the Federal Government to help our community recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan is called the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”), and includes money for, among other things,  unemployment assistance, schools, childcare help, health care and certain types of infrastructure.
